The UK FSA has issued a Food Alert to confirm that Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd has recalled its own brand sesame seed and seed mix products, due to the presence of salmonella.
"Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd has removed from sale the products listed below. Point of Sale notices have been issued to all stores. These notices will alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have already purchased the affected products.
The products recalled are:
Sainsbury's Sesame Seeds Pack Size: 100g Best Before End: Mar 2010
Seed Mix Pack Size: 60g Best Before End: Mar 2010
