Stefano’s Foods, Inc., a Charlotte, N.C. establishment, is recalling approximately 981 pounds of Stromboli products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The product contains eggs, a known allergen which is not declared on the product label.

D &D Foods, Inc., an Omaha, Neb. establishment, is recalling approximately 17,847 pounds of pepperoni pizza products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The products contain soy lecithin, a known allergen which is not declared on the final product label.

Recall of Marks and Spencer Haggis and Pudding Products Due to Inadequate Process Controls

As a precautionary measure, Marks & Spencer is recalling a range of haggis and pudding products, manufactured by Macsween of Edinburgh. This is because of inadequate process controls in place to prevent the growth and toxin production of Clostridium botulinum. Marks &Spencer has issued in-store notices requesting customers who have bought this product to return it to a store. No other Marks & Spencer products are known to be affected. Withdrawal of Wonkandy Confectionery Cakes Due to Risk of Injury from Sharp Plastics Sticks

The Wonkandy confectionery product was withdrawn due to the presence of sharp plastic sticks. The plastic sticks are affixed to some of the sweets and sharp parts may cause injury to consumers. The FSAI is advised that there may be a similar issue with the following Wonkandy confectionery products: Cake Large New York; Cake Big Rosa; Cake Big Primavera; Cake Big Arco Iris; Cake Small Primavera; Cake Small Croissant; Cake Small Tutti Frutti Red and Cake Small Tutti Frutti Blue.
