Waitrose recalls Frozen 2 Breaded Haddock Fillets because of incorrect allergen labelling

Waitrose is recalling a batch of its Frozen 2 Breaded Haddock Fillets because it was incorrectly packaged with battered haddock fillets, which contain milk and mustard. This means the product contains undeclared mustard and milk and this is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard, and/or an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. FDA and FSIS recalls this week

Fratelli Beretta USA, Inc., a Mount Olive, N.J. establishment, is recalling approximately 468 pounds of mortadella product due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The product contains pistachio nuts, known allergens which are not declared on the product label.

As a precautionary measure, Tesco is recalling the above batches of Tesco Cheeses of Ireland Wicklow Blue, due to the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes. Tesco is issuing point of sale recall notices requesting customers who have bought an implicated batch to return it to their store.

Heatons is recalling a consignment of Toblerones because they contain egg which is not on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg. The consignment was sold with an incorrect over-stickered ingredients list, which omitted the ingredient egg white. The implicated consignment was only sold in Northern Ireland through Heatons.
