Asda withdraws Extra Special Chocolate and Beetroot Cake due to undeclared walnuts

Asda has withdrawn its Extra Special Chocolate and Beetroot Cake because some packs might contain Extra Special Carrot, Courgette and Orange Loaf Cake which contains walnuts, and this is not mentioned on the product label. Mars Ireland Recalls Fun Size Bars and Celebrations Due to Possible Presence of Plastic Pieces (Updated)

As a precautionary measure, Mars Ireland is recalling certain batches of the above products, due to the possible presence of plastic pieces. Mars Ireland is issuing a press notice and in-store notices requesting customers who have bought this product to return it to the store of purchase. Update 24/02/2016: Additional batches of Mars, Milky Way, Snickers and Celebrations are subject to recall, but these were not supplied directly by Mars Ireland to customers in the Republic of Ireland. If food business operators have purchased these products from any other supplier they should contact Mars Ireland to ascertain if their stock is subject to recall. Recall of Florentin Organic Falafel Nuggets Bio Due to Presence of Listeria monocytogenes

The implicated batch of Florentin Organic Kitchen Organic Falafel Nuggets Bio is being recalled from consumers due to the detection of Listeria monocytogenes. The batch was sold to a small number of stores in Ireland. Shops which have sold this batch must display a point-of-sale notice advising customers not to consume the implicated batch. Recall of Raw Meal Organic Shake and Meal Replacement Linked with Outbreak of Salmonellosis in the US

The FSAI is informed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that Garden of Life LLC is recalling certain batches of Raw Meal Organic Shake & Meal Replacement products. These products are linked to an outbreak of Salmonella Virchow infection in the US. The FDA advises that the implicated batches may have been supplied to businesses in Ireland. Vosges, LTD, a Chicago, Ill. establishment, is recalling approximately 135 pounds of Uncured Bacon Ganache chocolate products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The product contains coconut, a known allergen which is not declared on the product label.

Hormel Foods Corporation, a Tucker, Ga. establishment, is recalling approximately 450 pounds of beef products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.

King Soopers Recalls Gourmet Bread Pudding Due to Undeclared Allergens - Walnuts

HEMA recalls its Chocolate Meringues due to undeclared presence of soya

HEMA is recalling its chocolate flavoured meringues which contain soya that is not declared on the label. During production of the chocolate meringues, a number of packs were incorrectly labelled with the back label of the vanilla meringues. As a consequence, the label doesn't state that the product contains soya. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya. - See more at: FSA

Lytham Foods recalls Chicken Tikka Sandwiches

Last updated: 1 February 2016 product recall As a precautionary measure, Lytham Foods is recalling Taylors of Lytham Chicken Tikka Sandwiches due to the possible presence of Salmonella in the tikka powder ingredient used to manufacture this product. Asda is recalling its Extra Special Camembert de Pays as a precautionary measure due to the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes.
