Sheridans Cheesemongers Recall Fresh Cut Cheeses Due to the Possible Presence of Listeria monocytogenes

Sheridans Cheesemongers is recalling all batches of fresh cut cheese following the detection of Listeria monocytogenes in a cut Roquefort cheese. The recalled cheeses were produced in a number of different countries and then cut at Sheridans Cheesemongers. The implicated packs, therefore, carry the above approval number. Point of sale notices will be displayed in stores that were supplied with the implicated batches.

Heinz Co., a Muscatine, Iowa, establishment, initiated a recall on Nov. 19, 2016, of approximately 5,022 pounds of bistro au jus gravy product that is incorrectly labeled as pork gravy due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The au jus gravy product contains milk and soy, known allergens, which are not declared on the incorrect labeling for pork gravy.

Gower Brewing Ltd is recalling four types of beer due to undeclared wheat (gluten)

Gower Brewing Limited is recalling four types of beer as their labels do not declare the presence of wheat malt. This makes the products a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.
