Bourgeois Smokehouse Recalls Ready-To-Eat Smoked Andouille Sausage Products Due to Possible Listeria Contamination. 

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken soup products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The products contain wheat, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

Hormel Foods Corporation, a Tucker, Ga. establishment, is recalling approximately 256,185 pounds of canned beef stew product that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically wood, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.
