Mars Chocolate Drinks Recalls Certain Milk Drink Products Due to Elevated Levels of Bacillus species

The FSA and the FSAI report that Mars Chocolate Drinks is recalling certain milk drinks manufactured by Milchwerke Mittelelbe GmbH with ‘best before’ dates between 19th December 2014 and 11th April 2015. Twelve products are affected by the recall. These batches are being recalled due to the presence of a bacterium known as Bacillus at elevated levels in some of these products, which can cause food poisoning.
