Loch Arthur Creamery recalls batches of its own Criffel unpasteurised cheese due to high levels of Listeria monocytogenes
Listeria monocytogenes has been detected in the above product following sampling by Dumfries & Galloway Council, and may pose a risk to health. Listeria monocytogenes can cause illness in certain groups of people, such as pregnant women, unborn and newborn babies, and anyone with reduced immunity, particularly the over-60s.
