ASDA withdraws certain date codes of ASDA Chosen by You Chicken & Mushroom Noodle Pouch due to a packaging error resulting in incorrect allergen information
The above product has been packed with a wrong marinade made with shellfish powder containing prawns which has not been declared on the label. This poses a public health risk to those with an allergy to prawns (crustaceans).

Action taken by the company The company has withdrawn the implicated date codes from sale. Customer notices have been displayed in stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the withdrawal and to explain the actions they can take if they have purchased this product. A copy of the point-of-sale notice is attached to this alert. In addition, the company has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at-risk members of the withdrawal. No other ASDA products are known to be affected.
