Sainsbury’s recalls all codes of its own brand Lemon Thyme due to salmonella contamination
Salmonella has been detected in a pack of the above product following routine testing by Sainsbury’s. As a precautionary measure, Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd is recalling all date codes up to and including 21 January 2013.

Action taken by the company: Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd is recalling the above product.
Point-of-sale notices are being displayed in store explaining the actions consumers can take if they have bought the affected product. A copy of the point-of-sale notice issued by Sainsbury’s is attached to this alert. No other Sainsbury’s products are known to be affected.
