Additional codes of DANIELLA brand MANGOES distributed nationally may contain Salmonella Braenderup bacteria

The public warning issued on August 28, 2012, has been further expanded to include additional product codes and dates of sale. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning the public not to consume the Daniella brand mangoes described below because they may be contaminated with Salmonella Braenderup bacteria. The affected Daniella brand mangoes, product of Mexico, were sold as individual fruit or as a part of a multi-pack with a sticker bearing brand Daniella and one of the following PLU numbers: 3114, 4051, 4311, 4584 or 4959. These mangoes were sold at various retail stores between July 12 and up to and including August 29, 2012. These mangoes may have been distributed nationally.
