Dolmio Pasta Bake Sauce recalled over sulphite concern

Ausfoodnews reports that Mars Food Australia has recalled a batch of Dolmio Pasta Bake sauce sold in Coles supermarkets in NSW and interstate. The batch is being recalled due to the possible presence of undeclared sulphites. When consumed, sulphites can cause asthma, rashes, irritable bowel syndrome and headaches in people with an intolerance to sulphites. The recalled product is Dolmio Pasta Bake ‘Creamy sundried tomato and garlic sauce’, in a 540g vacuum-sealed glass jar, with the ‘best before’ date of 13/05/2013. The recall applies only to this product.
