InBev UK Ltd recalls three batch codes of Stella Artois Cidre due to yeast fermentation which may cause glass bottles to burst
The FSA has issued a food alert to confirm that InBev UK Ltd has recalled three batch codes of Stella Artois Cidre due to yeast fermentation which may cause glass bottles to burst.
Product: Stella Artois Cidre, 568ml single bottles and 12x568ml bottle case.
Best before: April or May 2012
Batch codes: 1182381, 1214381, 1217381
Action taken by the company: InBev UK Ltd is in the process of recalling the affected product from consumers and customers. Point-of-sale notices will also be issued in retail stores explaining the reason for recall and the actions consumers can take if they have bought the affected products. A press notice has been placed in the national newspapers today. No other Stella Artois products are known to be affected.
