Salmonella Detected in Batch of East End Coriander Powder
We have been advised that East End House, UK are withdrawing a batch of the above coriander powder, due to the presence of Salmonella. Some of this implicated batch was distributed in Ireland, mainly to wholesalers supplying catering establishments, where it would normally be used in cooked products. The UK distributor has also advised that future batches will be amended with the statement “Must be cooked prior to consumption”. No other products are known to be affected by this withdrawal. No action is required by official agencies.
