Aldi Stores withdraws one batch of Greisinger Cheese Cabanossi Austrian air dried, hot smoked and seasoned sausages due to incorrect allergen labelling. Due to a labelling error, the product is labelled as dairy free but contains cheese, which is included in the ingredients list. The product therefore presents a potential health risk for people who are allergic or intolerant to milk and milk components. Consumers who are lactose intolerant are unaffected as the product is confirmed through testing as being made with cheese that is lactose-free.
