UNDECLARED SHRIMP IN EGG CUSTARD IMPORTED FROM JAPAN
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Nishimoto Trading Co. Ltd. are warning people with allergies to shrimp not to consume the Egg Custard described below. The affected product contains shrimp which is not declared on the label.
The affected product is sold in a 190 g plastic cup with the top label showing Japanese writing and the UPC 4 978050 014109. On the side panel the product is identified as Egg Custard (Chawanmushi) with the UPC 0 74410 77805 7. All codes are affected by this alert.
