CFIA UPDATES LIST OF SANDWICH PRODUCTS MADE WITH RECALLED PROCESSED CHEESE SLICES THAT MAY CONTAIN LISTERIA MONOCYTOGENES
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has updated the list of affected sandwich products that were made with processed cheese slices recalled by Saputo Inc., Montreal, Quebec on December 02, 2010. The CFIA is warning the public not to consume the food products described below because these products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This is an ongoing food safety investigation. The CFIA is working with various manufacturers and retailers to identify and remove all affected sandwich products. As more products are identified, the CFIA will continue to update its list of recalled products.
