CERTAIN ASSORTED SANDWICH PRODUCTS CONTAINING PROCESSED CHEESE SOLD AT CO-OP, VALUFOODS & RITESTOP STORES IN THE ATLANTIC PROVINCES AND THE MAGDELAN ISLANDS, QUEBEC MAY CONTAIN LISTERIA MONOCYTOGENES

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Co-op Atlantic are warning the public not to consume the assorted sandwich products described in the press release that was sold in Co-op, ValuFoods and RiteStop stores in the Atlantic provinces and the Magdalen Islands, Quebec because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This recall is being initiated as these sandwich products may contain processed cheese slices recalled by Saputo Inc., Montreal, Quebec
