Boots Recall Gü Mug and Chocolate Gift Set Due to Possible Mould Growth in Chocolate Truffles

The FSAI is reporting that Boots is voluntarily recalling specific batches of a Gü mug and chocolate gift set which contains 70% cocoa chocolate truffles. A heat processing error resulted in the potential for product spoilage by mould growth in the truffle fillings. No other batches or products are affected by this recall in the Republic of Ireland*. Boots has issued in-store notices and letters to “Advantage Card” holders who purchased the gift set requesting the return of implicated batches.
