SMOKED SALMON FROM SAUSAGE KITCHEN FINE SAUSAGES & MEATS MAY CONTAIN LISTERIA MONOCYTOGENES

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning the public not to consume Smoked Salmon purchased from Sausage Kitchen Fine Sausages & Meats, Ottawa, Ontario, because the product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The affected Smoked Salmon was sold over the counter from one retail location, Sausage Kitchen Fine Sausages & Meats, 5 Byward Market Square, Ottawa, Ontario, from September 10 to October 4, 2010, inclusive. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
