Hallmark Fisheries Issues Recall of Crab Meat Because of Possible Health Risk

The US FDA have issued a press release to confirm that Hallmark Fisheries, Charleston, Ore., is recalling several packaged crab meat products because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.  The crab meat is sold under the brands Hallmark, Peacock, Quality Ocean International and Yaquina Bay in five pound cans, one pound vacuum packs, one pound plastic tubs and eight ounce plastic tubs.
