QFC Recalls Broccoli Raisin Salad for Undeclared Allergen

The US FDA has issued an alert to confirm that Quality Food Center (QFC) stores is recalling select containers of Broccoli Raisin Salad because they may contain walnuts not listed on the label. Customers should return the product to stores for a full refund or replacement. People who are allergic to walnuts could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. For consumers who are not allergic to walnuts, there is no safety issue with the product. The Broccoli Raisin Salad being recalled was sold by the pound in the deli service department of some QFC stores on July 10. This is the only date that is affected. The containers were sold in select QFC stores in Oregon and Washington.
