UNDECLARED MILK IN GARLIC KING BRAND FLAVOUR INTENSIFIER
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Garlic King are warning people with allergies to milk not to consume Garlic King brand Flavour Intensifier. The affected product contains milk which is not declared on the label. The affected product, Garlic King brand Flavour Intensifier is sold in 227 g, 454 g and 681 g packages with no UPC. All “Made Fresh on” dates up to and including 3-30-10 (March 30, 2010) are affected by this alert.
This product has been distributed in Ontario. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product. Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.
