Waitrose Ltd withdraws its Waitrose Deliciously Different Thai Red Chicken Curry with due to incorrect allergen labelling

The UK FSA has issued an allergy alert to confirm that Waitrose Ltd is recalling its Deliciously Different Thai Red Chicken Curry with Wild Rice, Pak Choi and Red Peppers. This is because some packs have been produced with the wrong labelling that does not state the presence of shrimp paste in the ingredients list. Therefore, allergy information for shellfish is not declared on the label. The product is, therefore, a potential health risk for individuals with an allergy to shellfish.

The product details are:
Product identification: Waitrose Deliciously Different Thai Red Chicken Curry with Wild Rice, Pak Choi and Red Peppers, 390g
