Recall of SuperValu Homestyle Crumbed Ham, Centra Homestyle Crumbed Ham and Centra Homestyle Cooked Ham

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has been informed of a food recall initiated by Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland. Rudd Fine Foods has notified Musgraves of the possible presence of Listeria in three products it supplies to the company. Musgraves has traced this product back to all affected stores and as a precaution, all of the stock has been removed from sale with immediate effect.

The affected products, which were supplied to a limited number of stores, include SuperValu Homestyle Crumbed Ham, Centra Homestyle Crumbed Ham and Centra Homestyle Cooked Ham, which are products cut in store at the deli-counter. This issue is limited to a specific batch code which is 18.09.2009 / Batch 276, which was delivered to Musgraves from 18th-27th August and has an expiration date of 18th September 2009. The products have a two day shelf life from the point of purchase.

If customers have purchased any of the affected batch of products they should not be consumed and should be disposed of immediately.
