Recall of Heinz Mum's Own Spaghetti Bolognaise
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has been informed of a food recall initiated by H.J. Heinz Company Ltd. The implicated batch of spaghetti bolognaise is being recalled as a precautionary measure because of the potential presence of small pieces of plastic which could present a choking risk. The batch code affected is 9136, which is marked on the top of the cap, with a best before end date of 11/2010, which may be found on the side of the cap. Product recall notices will appear in national newspapers today. Point of sale notices are being displayed in retail outlets which stocked the affected product.
