Morrisons recalls product due to potential blue plastic contamination

The UK FSA has issued a food alert to confirm that William Morrison Supermarkets plc has recalled seventeen products within its range of own-label salad tubs, in-store produced pizzas and a bakery product due to the red peppers used in those products being potentially contaminated with pieces of hard, blue plastic.

Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc has withdrawn all affected products from retail sale and has issued a point-of-sale notice. These notices alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the products.
