The US FDA has issued a press release to confirm that Haifa Smoked Fish, Inc is voluntarily recalling all Haifa Smoked Fish brand Cold Smoked Whitefish sold between December 7, 2008 and June 18, 2009. The product is being recalled because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
