Recall of various brands of sesame seed products due to the presence of salmonella

The UK FSA has issued a food alert to confirm the recall of various brands of sesame seed products due to the presence of salmonella. The alert states that:

"All brand owners concerned have removed from sale the products listed below. Point-of-sale notices have been issued in stores. These notices will alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have already purchased the affected products.
The products recalled are: Asda Whole Foods Sesame Seeds Pack Size: 150g Before Before End: Sept 2009, October 2009, Nov 2009 and Dec 2009

Co-op Sesame Seeds Pack Size: 100g Before Before End: Jan 2010 Batch Codes: L9030A9251 and L9009B9152

Tesco Wholefoods Sesame Seeds Pack Size: 300g Wholefoods Three Seed Mix Pack Size: 300g
