Number of recalled products edges towards 3000

The US CDC has reviewed the number of confirmed cases of Salmonella Typhimurium associated with peanut products. As of the 1st March 677 (from 666) cases have been identified with around 3000 products now being recalled. The most recently reported case was February 8, 2009
