Melamine recall continues
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning people not to consume seven types of Lotte brand Koala’s March filled cookies as they may contain melamine.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Dai Jung Distributing are advising people not to consume two types of OK OK Kaiser pretzels. These products are being recalled due to a positive test result for melamine conducted by the CFIA.
The FDA have also issued a further press release for Sunny Maid Corp. of Monterey Park, California who is voluntarily recalling Mr. Brown 3-in-1 and 2-in-1 POWDERED PACKETS IN BAG COFFEE MIXES, because they are potentially contaminated with melamine.
The Food Standards Agency has issued an alert about Koala biscuits, a brand of biscuits from China on sale in the UK that have been found to contain low levels of melamine (4.98 mg/kg).
Heinz, Unilever and Mars have also been drawn into the recall
