Product recalls continue

It is only two days since I last blogged about the problems with Listeria in Canada. In a product recall situation 48 hours is a long time and the CFIA has issued another six health alerts with regard to various products. It is a concerning situation and that is why test product recalls are such an important part of a food safety programme. You need to ensure the system works before it happens and any lessons learned in the test need to be built into improving the systems in the future.
