Gastroenteritis outbreak following water contamination

Eurosurveillance report that there has been an outbreak of acute gastroenteritis in Solvenia affecting at least 408 people. It is believed that this was due to the water supply being contaminated when the water supply network was connected to a newly built part of the system.
