FDA and mussels

The US FDA has issued a warning to consumers on certain frozen cooked mussel products made by Bantry Bay Seafoods, imported from Ireland. This is because they may be contaminated with azaspiracid toxins. These are a group of naturally occuring marine poisons that can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach cramps.
