Norovirus rampant in the UK

Norovirus cases have risen significantly this winter in the UK with hospital wards being shut, visitors being limited and schools on alert for symptoms too. Doctors estimate that 100,000 people a week are contracting norovirus otherwise known as the winter vomiting bug. The virus can be transferred by infected people, contaminated food or water or coming into contact with contaminated surfaces.
