Recall of Florentin Organic Falafel Nuggets Bio Due to Presence of Listeria monocytogenes

The implicated batch of Florentin Organic Kitchen Organic Falafel Nuggets Bio is being recalled from consumers due to the detection of Listeria monocytogenes. These products are linked to an outbreak of Salmonella Virchow infection in the US. The FDA advises that the implicated batches may have been supplied to businesses in Ireland. Ingredients in the individual packets include milk, eggs, wheat and fish and even though the individual packets are enclosed in another sealed package, Fresh Express issued a recall out of an abundance of caution to protect the health and well-being of consumers who may be at risk from exposure to undeclared allergens.
